CHARITY LAUNCH EVENING

A word from the Chairman following on from the event

As the Chairman of the Charity, I would like to pass on my personal thanks and sincere gratitude to every person and group who attended, you all made it a very special evening.

I am proud to say that you all helped raise around £8500 on the evening, event sponsorship from Pokerstars of £1000, a £2000 donation from Zurich and not forgetting the private donation of £4500 which enabled us to purchase the Fire Engine. As promised, half of the amount we raised will be sent to Chris Garrett's charity Prevail Together.

I would also like to thank everyone who was involved in the set up, you all done a fantastic job and without you all the event wouldn't have been so successful.

Ukrainian Community Support

MSFU volunteers provide support here on the Isle of Man to Ukrainians who have come here seeking refuge. We can act as a point of contact for signposting to different agencies, meet for a friendly conversation with any Ukrainians suffering emotional hardship, and facilitate solution orientated action with any acute issues that the individual or their family may be struggling with as a consequence of the invasion.

Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those who need it most.

Our Impact

We are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those affected by the ongoing invasion. Thanks to our generous supporters, we have raised over £25,000 to provide critical aid. We’ve sent over 800 presents to bring joy to orphaned children and dispatched 53 vehicles filled with essential supplies to those in need.

Together, we are bringing hope and support to the people of Ukraine.
